Ann & John Fuller were big Texas Aggie Fans! We went to an Aggie game that was to decide whether or not if the Aggies were going to go to The Cotton Bowl. Ann & John set me up a blind date with Monty Stanley, & I got to sit with The Corps. (Gig 'em Aggies!) Ann & John said if the Aggies won, they would take us all to the game in Dallas. The ending of that game will always be a great memory for me. The Aggies won the game in a play after the clock had already run out, but the play gave them the WIN! We were ecstatic!

On the way to The Cotton Bowl in the car, we started a game in the car that a few people still play today. The game is called "Lookie". We were passing a bag of Fritos around. When we passed a car, everyone would open their mouths full of half-chewed Fritos, & yell "Lookie"! John Fuller thought that was hilarious, & I can still see him playing it. FUN TIMES.

Much as it pains me, I feel an obligation to history, and am compelled to submit the following with utmost respect to all concerned:

The game to which Juanita refers is the A&M-Tech game in 1967, in Lubbock, when EA was a freshman at Tech. It followed four straight losses by the Aggies, and at the time, the chances that they would play in the Cotton Bowl were infinitesimal. (They eventually did, but only after winning the rest of their games that season; and they beat Alabama in the Cotton Bowl. But that's another story.) A&M did win that Tech game, on a touchdown run by Edd Hargett as time ran out. And I've got to assume that Juanita didn't sit, but stood throughout the game with the Corps (cf. "The Twelfth Man" on Wikipedia).

Her recollection of "Lookie!" is, I am aghast to admit, absolutely accurate.
